Twice per week, vehicles leave from Switzerland, cross the Straits of Gibraltar by ferry and deliver their goods after a run of just 5 - 7 days. The fast delivery runs and reliable service are more in demand today than ever. The much lower costs over airfreight and the door-to-door delivery offer a significant competitive advantage for only slightly longer delivery times.

Having our own presence in Morocco plays a decisive role. M+R Spedag opened up a branch in Morocco as much as 20 years ago in order to take control of the problem of the delays caused by customs clearance at the destination. Even as the shipment is being loaded at the starting terminal in Basle, M+R Tangiers is already receiving all the shipment information and copies of all the documents relevant to customs clearance via the IT link with the group HQ in Basle. Establishing contact with the recipient and the preparation for customs clearance take place long before the truck arrives by ferry in Tangiers.
