Change of Management at M+R China

M+R China under new Management as of October 9, 2009
 
Marco Duerr, Director of M+R Spedag Groups’ China organization, will leave our
company as per 30 September 2009.

For the past 13 years he was in charge of M+R China and contributed greatly to our
success in Asia. Starting with 3 staff in a hotel room in Shanghai he managed the growth
of the organization to today’s 12 offices and more than 350 employees.
The company regrets his leaving, thanks him for his dedication and professional
leadership over the past years and wishes him luck in his new engagement.
With great pleasure we would like to introduce his successor, who will join us after the
holiday break on October 9th 2009.

Sven Kothe, German national, brings an extensive knowledge of the forwarding industry to
our group. He learnt the business in Bremen and thereafter worked in Singapore,
Bangladesh and for the last 9 years in Shanghai. He has made a career in family owned
companies of our size as well as in German global players, but always in the logistics
industry. His vast experience will be to the great benefit of our group and more important
to our worldwide customers and business partners.
