New airport office in Singapore
M+R Singapore opens new office at Changi Airport
On January 08, 2008, M+R Spedag Group Asia has officially opened a new office at Singapore Changi Airport, the region’s premier air cargo hub.
Singapore Changi Airport is recognized as one of the most efficient and busiest cargo airports in the world. More than 80 airlines are connecting Singapore with over 180 cities in over 50 countries. The air cargo throughput was 1.9 mio. tons in 2006 and 1.7 mio. tons from January to November 2007. With the opening of Terminal 3 in January 2008, the total annual capacity of Changi Airport will increase to about 70 million passenger movements, enhancing it's position as a major aviation hub in the Asia Pacific region.

Singapore's Changi Airport
M+R Spedag Group has maintained an office in Singapore for more than 20 years. In view of Singapore's increasing role as a major air cargo hub, a second office will now be opened at Changi airport.
"With the opening of the new office, M+R Singapore clearly demonstrates it's commitment to provide clients with the highest possible service levels. Round the clock service can only be achieved by having a direct presence at the airport." commented Gareth Evans, director of M+R Singapore. "M+R Singapore has consistently expanded over the past years. This latest step is in line with the group's focus on the further development of airfreight services. Our intention is to use Changi as a regional hub. It will allow us to further expand our activities in Southern Malaysia and Indonesia, where we operate our own offices. The new airport office is essential as our business continues to grow."
